It is time to help AMD

US Government and all other related financial companies: It is time to help AMD. We do not want to see all Computer CPU technologies are falling behand other countries.

Congratulation to China, who win the crown of supercomputer:
China unveiled at the end of October a supercomputer incorporating thousands of graphics chips and capable of achieving a sustained performance of 2.5 petaflops. In mid-November, the Top 500 list of supercomputers made it official: China’s Tianhe-1A topped the list. Placing second was the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility’s Jaguar system, reported to run at 1.75 petaflops. The race to the next level of supercomputing is on, with China declaring it will build by 2015 at least one system capable of 50 to 100 petaflops, and between 2016 and 2020 will build an exascale system (an exaflop is thousands times faster than a petaflop). The U.S. has made initial steps in exascale funding but has not reserved funds specifically for work to begin.

ETFC target : $24

(Last update: Dec 18, 2010)

E*Trade total accounts is increased

E*TRADE (Nasdaq: ETFC) posted its first quarterly profit in three years.
ETFC Q2 earnings were $35 million ( 12 cents a share) compared with a loss of $143 million, or $2.16, in Q2 last year.
ETFC returns to its core profitability might be a sustained profitability.

According the Zacks:
The significant turnaround in its results was helped by a drop in loan loss provisions in the quarter. Results were also supported by lower operating

expenses though revenue dropped in the quarter.

Both the MACD chart and the 50D MA chart look very positive

Hence we have set the ETFC target to $24.00.

News on Lehman Brothers (LEHMQ.PK)

After Lehman collapsed last September, Barclays Bank and Nomura bought substantial parts of its business. That left a holding company largely containing toxic mortgage assets and derivatives potentially amounting to billions of dollars that are still being unwound.

Lehman shares peaked last week at 32 cents, having spent much of the year at less than 5 cents. When the rally in Lehman began in late August, trading volume soared above 100m shares on one day, compared with virtually no activity earlier in the year. Lehman shares closed last week at 14 cents with trading volumes on Friday reaching just over 11m shares.

Looks like LEHMQ.PK might be able to reach 50 cents to one dollar in the short term.

Lehman leads rally

In an interview with TheStreet.com, Najarian argued that if the bankruptcy judge decided to keep Lehman running to allow it to have a better chance of making paying off creditors, he might pay just 80 cents on the dollar to creditors. From the $6 billion Lehman has collected so far, that would leave it with a market cap of $1.2 billion, or about $2 per share, Najarian reasons.
